Biography

Bio / narative form

Krassimir Terziev was born in Dobritch in 1969. He received Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology at Sofia University (2012) and MA in Painting at National Academy of Atrs, Sofia. Member of ICA - Sofia.

His solo exhibitions include: The look objects give us looking back through us, Yuzina Gallery, Sofia, 2016; Between the Past that is About to Happen and the Future that has Already Been, the National Gallery, Sofia / Dobritch Art Gallery (2015); Cosmopolis, ICA-Sofia, Sofia (2013); Background Action, Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart, Sofia City Art Gallery (2008/2007); Making Movies, Galeria Noua (2007).

He received a special award in Mtel Awards for Contemporary Art (2011) and Ruf Award for New Bulgarian Art (2007). His work is part of the public collections of Centre Pompidou/MNAM;  Arteast 2000+ Collection, Moderna Galerija  LjubljanaSofia City Art Gallery; Kunstsammlung Hypovereinsbank; Art Project Depot, among others.
